    Sexual Identification Female: Is rounder and fuller in body than the male.
    Behavior Masquerade Corydoras Catfish are very peaceful schooling fish that scavenge the aquarium's bottom for uneaten food. It is very common to see these fish schooling with different Cories. These fish are very gentle with one another and those of other species but should not be kept with aggressive fish. They are easy to keep in a community aquarium and will accept all foods. Cory Catfish require a dark substrate, mid to dense vegetation, sand or rounded pea size gravel, and hiding places such as drift wood, rocks, slate, and caves. These fish require good water quality with plenty of oxygen as well as frequent water changes. Cory Catfish can be kept in schools of 5 or more as well as in pairs. They can easily be housed in aquariums of various sizes.
    Water Environment pH: 6.2-7.5, Temperature: 68-76º F, Hardness: Up to 20dGH, Lighting: No special requirements. Substrate: Coarse sand or small gravel. Water Changes: Frequent - Good water quality. Filter: Filter should be the proper size for the aquarium.
    Diet Omnivorous: Worms, flake foods, shrimp pellets, algae wafers, freeze dried worms or frozen worms.
    Reproduction Egglayer: The eggs will adhere to both glass and plants. Fry: They may hatch within a few days. Fry: May be fed egg yolk, infusoria, or algae that is encrusted in rock, tiny artemia.

    Tips Cory Catfish do not care for salt! Cories love the occasional live foods such as tubifex worms. Sharp substrate may cause damage to their barbels. It is not necessary to school them with the same species - you can mix the corydoras species together in groups.
